Get an up-close and personal look at two of Superior's historical attractions on Sunday, May 20 as organizers celebrate the re-opening of the S.S. Meteor and the Superior Old Firehouse and Police Museum with a ribbon-cutting ceremony from 12:00 Noon til 4:00 PM at both locations.  The event kicks off the 2018 summer tourist season for these museums.

Bring the kids and the whole family for a tour.  Both museums will offer free admission for a look inside.  Tour the facilities while you enjoy free cake, coffee, and punch.

The S.S. Meteor Whaleback Museum is located on the man-made Barkers Island, 3-- Marina Drive.  Meanwhile - just a few blocks away - the Old Firehouse and Police Museum and the State of Wisconsin Police and Fire Hall of Fame is located at 402 23rd Ave. East in Superior.  Both offer visitors a hands-on look at historical items and other artifacts from Superior's past.
