Red Mug Coffeehouse is on the move!

The popular spot announced the exciting news on their Facebook page Thursday (July 30th), writing that they would be heading out of their current location and into a historic new one: the Carnegie Library!

The Carnegie Library is located on Hammond Avenue, meaning the business won't be moving out of the area. The original location was also found in Superior, Wisconsin.

According to their Facebook post, they will be working in conjunction with the library, dubbing the partnership a "co-working hub." This seems like a good fit because who doesn't want to sip some coffee while also checking out some books!

According to Red Mug's Facebook post, they are working on construction inside the building for the big move and for now, they will operate outside until it's done. They did not give a date of completion. On the big change, they write:

Though things will be quite different for awhile, we believe, in the long run, this is the very best place for us. We have missed seeing everyone and look forward to seeing you all again very soon!

Wow! I can't wait to see the new digs. I think it's really cool the new location will be inside a historic building. By the way, the Carnegie Library is located at 1204 Hammond Avenue.

The Carnegie Library also wrote about the new partnership on their Facebook page Thursday, saying that they were "delighted" by the new move. They also stated that the first 300 cups of coffee are on the house for loyal customers.
