We know all about the famous haunted houses sprinkled all around the Northland but if you're looking for one where you don't have to get out of your car, look no further than Tommy's Express Car Wash!

There are a bunch of haunted attractions in the Northland. From the Haunted Ship, which is stepping up the scariness this year, to the Haunted Forest, Halloween-related attractions are aplenty this year.

If you are looking for a more family-friendly event, there are plenty of those as well! There are fall festivals and low-scare attractions for kids this Halloween season. There are also spooky paranormal conventions and more.

If you are like me, you want to soak them all in! I usually try to go to every haunted attraction in the Northland and all of them are different and fun for different reasons. This one is also different and you even end up with a shiny car!

Tommy's Express Car Wash is back with their Tunnel Of Terror this year. That means, you get in your car, head to the car wash and get scared while trapped inside! It also means you get a car wash at the same time.

The Tunnel Of Terror will be back for its second year on Friday, October 21st and Saturday, October 22nd. It will also take place on Friday, October 28th and Saturday, October 29th. The haunt will kick off at 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.

It will cost $20 bucks to go through the car wash but that is per car, not per person. It also includes the price of a car wash, which you truly get when going through the Tunnel Of Terror.

The haunt is Zombie themed so you can expect plenty of the walking dead while making your way through the wash. I also have it on good authority that you may or may not see Jason Vorhees as well. Aside from zombies and Jason, staff will be dressed up as other creatures and will try to get into your car so lock those doors.

It should also be mentioned that all the lights for the wash will be turned off. It will be very dark with the exception of the lighting used for the haunt, giving the attraction another sense of scary!

The haunt will also take longer than the normal car wash through Tommy's. They are going to be slowing their belt way down, almost to a crawl which means there is more time for monsters to try to join you inside the car. Yikes!

Another cool thing about the haunt is that they have partnered with the Boy Scouts this year. The Voyageurs Area Council will be there and the Boy Scouts will be dressed as zombies and help with makeup. They will be earning a theater merit badge for helping out, which is pretty cool.

By the way, Tommy's Express opened in March of last year. It is the big, red building along Central Entrance. You can't miss it and you definitely don't want to miss your chance at this unique type of haunted attraction!
