It looks like they're finally going to try to fix the rough railroad crossing that exists at 28th Street - between Elmira and Corning Avenue.  Officials with the City of Superior have planned a Monday, August 29 start date.

Drivers who navigate this crossing know that it has been an especially-rough patch for the past few years.  Most vehicles come to an almost-stand still while passing over them in an effort to avoid suspension damage.

A detour will be in place as the road will be completely closed during the repairs.  Work is expected to be finished by Friday, September 2.
