NorthShore Inline Marathon and SkateFest 2019: Times To Know

The 2019 NorthShore Inline Marathon is nearly here, with the added SkateFest element happening through the weekend as well. If you're participating in any of the events or want to be a spectator, here are all of the key date and time information to know so you don't miss anything:

Friday, September 13

Noon-9 pm: NorthShore Inline Marathon Race Expo and Packet Pickup
Noon- 4 pm: DECC Door 7 Skate Park
Approx 4-6 pm: Harbor Drive Closed from Symphony Hall (Entrance F) to Harbor Drive DECC parking entrance
4:30 pm: Kid’s Sprints races on Harbor Drive
6 pm - 6:30 pm: Pro Speed Skating Exhibition
7:30-8 pm: Friday Night Skate (loop around Downtown Duluth, no traffic diversions—participants must follow the rules of the road)

Saturday, September 14

Race Expo Day 2 - 8:30 am-noon

Start Line Transportation Departure Times: (All buses load from DECC North Ramp exit off of Railroad Street. Half Marathon/42k athletes drop off via Ryan Road, Marathon athletes drop off near north end of Scenic 61, NO TRANSPORTATION provided for 10k athletes)

Awards

Race awards will happen at the Sports Garden. Run awards at noon, skate and rollerski awards at 2:30.

7 pm - 9 pm: Skate Jam Live in the DECC Pioneer Hall

Sunday, September 15

1 pm - 4 pm: Lincoln Park Takeover -Duluth’s Lincoln Park Skateparks (Midtown Skatepark and Wheeler Field Skatepark), and Bent Paddle Brewing. Strap up for an extreme ride! Check out extreme skaters from around the country as they skate a few of Duluth’s skateparks in the Lincoln Park neighborhood, with a stop at Bent Paddle Brewing’s taproom after the action! If you’re an aggressive rider, join in for a fun tour of two of Duluth’s best aggressive parks.
