NFL’s New “No Purse” Rule Starts This Year, Cue Outraged Women
The NFL is trying to be safe. They are alienating the very people they want to start coming to the games, Women. Women's apparel has had a sharp rise in sales. More and more women are going to games and becoming part of the game.
The NFL is trying to be safe, I know I repeated that, but I'm trying to show you what the stance of the NFL is. They keep referring to that statement.Last time we went to a Football game, Sam was in diapers, I had to run to the other side of the building so someone could check my bag. Just so they could check my 3 diapers and wipes I had with me for the change.
Here is what will be allowed at football games starting this fall:
- Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12.” (Official NFL team logo clear plastic tote bags are available through club merchandise outlets or at nflshop.com), or
- One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar).
- Small clutch bags, approximately the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap can be taken into the stadium with one of the clear plastic bag options.
- An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at a gate designated for this purpose.
I understand that women could hide something in their purse. I think most women would go without their purse for a couple of hours to watch a football game.
I don't think women or men could go without a diaper bag if you have a child that small. So now they have made the family mad. This is the other part I don't understand, you won't let families bring in diaper bags and then you out price the average family so they can't afford tickets.
Good Luck NFL!!!
