It's a project that's scheduled to start next year!  The Twin Ports Interchange Reconstruction Project - the rebuild for the so-called "Can Of Worms" intersection - will take place 2020 through 2023.  In advance of the work, officials with the Minnesota Department of Transportation have been holding a series of public meetings; the next of those meetings will take place on Monday, March 25 at Clyde Iron Works.

The design work for the rebuild will see many improvements - both in safety and in infrastructure.  One major element will see the elimination of some of the blind lane mergers.

The meetings will occur over the course of two identical sessions:

  • 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM - with a presentation at 11:45 AM
  • 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM - with a presentation at 6:15 PM

Attendees can expect to learn more about the plans direct from the sources at the Minnesota Department of Transportation.  In addition, there will be the opportunity to see designs and to provide feedback.
