Michelle Obama Is Now a World Record Holder for Jumping Jacks [VIDEO]

First Lady Michelle Obama is a world record holder, and she didn’t even have to anything weird like stuff a bunch of quarters up her nose or run around in her underwear, which is what less presidentially-connected folks have been doing recently to set world records.

Instead, she set her mark in a recent event in which 300,000 kids in locations around the world joined her in doing jumping jacks, shattering the previous record of 20,000 people doing jumping jacks in a 24 hour period. Now, the Guinness Book of Records has confirmed that Michelle is a world record holder. 

It was all to promote her Let’s Move! initiative, which encourages physical fitness and healthy eating. Watch Michelle talk about breaking the record below.
