Matt Cassell Jersey Not Being Sold By Minnesota Vikings
Poor Matt Cassell, I think he knows his time in the Viking camp is numbered. I read an article by the St. Paul Pioneer Press that said they couldn't find a single person wearing a Matt Cassell jersey at a practice day, and they wondered why that was.
So they did some digging and found that at the MN Vikings practice, you couldn't buy a Matt Cassell jersey because they didn't have one.
I went and looked at the Minnesota Vikings store and there is not a Matt Cassell jersey. When I did a search for Matt Cassell, it was pictures of him in Kansas City and New England. I had to search Minnesota Vikings to find him.
I went to the NFL store and found a jersey. The price was the lowest of any player for the team. In fact, at the time I am writing this, you have to pay more for a Minnesota Vikings jersey with your own name on it. Why is that? I don't know. I do know that the NFL store says they haven't sold a single Matt Cassell number 16 jersey.
It may be that the Vikings coaching staff knows who is going to be the starter at Quarterback this season and it isn't Matt Cassell. It could be that the Vikings know he isn't going to last, that he is the teacher to Teddy Bridgewater and good old Teddy will be taking over after the pre season. It could be Matt has a bad agent.
Whatever the reason, poor Matt Cassell. It really has to suck showing up to practice after signing a huge contract, working hard, signing autographs, then looking out over the crowd and seeing your faded number 16, with Rich Gannon on it, sorry Matt.
