The finale for one of the Twin Ports Christmas-time traditions appears to be close at hand.  After suggesting as much the last few years, Marcia Hales has announced on her social media that this will "truly be my last year of lighting the display".

The popular Christmas light display has been a hallmark in the region for the past 19 years.  Hales first decorated her Park Point property with her husband - starting small and promising each other to make it bigger the next season.  Following his untimely passing, Hales continued the tradition they had started - with help from family, friends, and community.

Understated but beautiful, Hales display grew a little bigger with each coming holiday season.  Along the way she added popular attractions like the fire pit, the laser lights on the beach, and of course - the warming house with hot apple cider and cookies.

Three years ago Marcia Hales attracted national attention when her light display and property was featured on ABC televisions reality show "Great Christmas Light Fight".
