The free, outdoor winter market is bigger and better and takes place on the grounds of Glensheen December 1 and 2, 10 am to 5 pm.

According to a press release it is designed around small business, the scenic city and small business. The Duluth Winter Village is a two-day festival where 40+ local small businesses sell their unique, curated goods out of custom-built wooden cabins.

In addition to shopping, visitors will enjoy food and beverages from local restaurants in a heated dining space, campfires by the lake, s'mores, live animals, carolers, a mobile sauna and more.

Participants include Huckleberry, J. Skylark Toy Store, Wintergreen Northern Wear, Frost River, Blue Heron Trading Company, Zenith Bookstore, Flora North and many more.

Free parking, including disability parking, for this event, is available on UMD's campus in Parking Lot B (Take University Drive entrance from College Street) and Duluth East High School. Free shuttles will run from 9:00 am until 6:00 pm on both days, starting one hour before the event opens and ending an hour after the event closes. An additional handicap-accessible shuttle will be making trips to both parking locations.
