Some more late-season road construction work will necessitate single lane closures along two arterial streets off of I-35 for one week.  Officials with the Minnesota Department of Transportation are alerting drivers to the road work that will occur along 27th Avenue West and 46th Avenue West near the interstate; the work will bring single lane closures in each direction from Friday, September 13 through Friday, September 20 - a period of one week.

According to details released by the Minnesota Department of Transportation, the single lane closures along those stretches of road are due to adjustments that will be made to manhole and valve castings.

As of this point, MNDOT doesn't anticipate that the work will last longer than the scheduled week, however the closures are subject to weather and situational delays.
