The Olympic and World Cup Champion was surprised by the attention given for her 55-yard field goal, and who she might kick for.

Lloyd was in St. Paul for the U.S. women’s national team’s friendly against Portugal at Allianz Field but was asked more questions about prospects in kicking in the NFL.  She has said that she received calls from some NFL teams for her to kick for them and hasn't said who they are. When asked point-blank if Minnesota was one of them she wouldn't give up any answers. The Vikings have been notorious for having kickers crumble under pressure. Could they be thinking of adding Lloyd to the roster? Minnesota is n't saying either.

Lloyd has said many times she would play soccer as long as her body will let her. She should be saying as long as the USA will have her. Lloyd is looking at an uncertain future. She was mostly a substitute when the U.S. won its second consecutive World Cup and now will be replacing coach Jill Ellis. The new coach could come in and want a younger squad and make changes that could make Carli Lloyd decide to be a football player in the NFL.
