The Duluth Rotary Club Rose Sale Starts This Week
This is the 34th year of the Duluth Rotary Club's Rose Sale that starts this week.
Roses are available for pre-order starting this Thursday, September 5th and will be accepted through Sunday, October 6th. Roses are $25 a dozen and are available from Duluth Rotary members, by calling 348-ROSE or online by visiting rotaryroses.com.
Roses will be available for pickup on Friday, October 11th and Saturday, October 12th
at a number of locations around the Twin Ports.
The Rotary Club of Duluth has been doing its thing since 1911 and proceeds from the Rose Sale supports their efforts:
- Grants to local organizations that help children and less-fortunate individuals by
providing food, shelter, and clothing - Community improvements, including the construction of parks and funds that helped light Duluth’s Aerial Lift Bridge and Enger Tower
- Activities for local children, including an annual fishing trip on the St. Louis River
- Activities for seniors
- Provided books for the library
- and much more!
I love the quality of roses that I've gotten in the past from the Rose Sale, they are big and last a while, you won't be disappointed.
