Immigrant Song, Led Zeppelin, Rayman’s Song Of The Day [VIDEO]

Led Zeppelin was the definitive heavy metal band, for several reasons, here's a few.  It wasn't so much that they were fantastic musicians,  it was how they incorporated mythology and  mysticism  into their sound. Led Zeppelin had mystique, and that alone was unheard of. The music press hated them, so they stopped giving interviews.  The only connection fans had with the band was through the records and concerts.  Led Zeppelin basically established the concept of album-oriented rock, refusing to release popular songs from their albums as singles. For these reasons, I call them the definite heavy metal band. They set the bar high, many have followed, none have succeeded.
