Highway 53-Highway 1 Intersection Rebuild Meeting Happens December 6

A project to rebuild the intersection of Highway 53 and Highway 1 near Cook is on the docket for the Minnesota Department of Transportation - scheduled for the summer of 2019.  In advance of the start of the road work, MNDOT is holding informational meetings to get the word out about the particulars.

One of those meetings is scheduled for Thursday, December 6 at the Cook Community Center:  510 Gopher Drive.  The session will run from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

At he session, the general public will have the opportunity to get information about the intersection projects that are just north and south of Cook.  MNDOT has also planned to add additional passing lanes between Cook and International Falls as part of the work.
