Get ready to go back in time and enjoy Duluth's Movies in the park this year in your car.

Remember in the movie Grease (for those of you that haven't been to a drive-in) where Danny Takes Sandy to the drive-in and then sings "Stranded At The Drive-In"?

Well, get ready to re-live it. KBJR is reporting that the GDC President Kristi Stokes says they are going to run a new play. In order to keep with COVID-19 social distancing, the GDC and it's sponsor Carlson Orthodontics is moving the annual event from Leif Erickson Park to the Duluth Entertainment and Convention Center.

Stokes Told KBJR, Movies in the Park will become, Movies In The Drive-In. People will pull into the DECC parking lot and then remain in their car to enjoy the movie, thus distancing themselves from each other. Cars will be spaced apart in the parking lot.

The report goes on to say that the Movies will be shown every Friday starting July 17th and run through August 28th. There will also be concessions delivered car side.
