Superior Police Bring Back Random Acts Of Kindness Initiative
Good things do happen in our community! The Superior Police Department is proudly bringing back their Random Acts of Kindness Initiative for the fourth holiday season in a row. In coordination with the Garret Carr Memorial (Team Carr) and Patrick Poirer of Environmental Consulting & Testing, they'll be spreading joy this season.
During the months of November and December, Superior Police will be on the lookout for citizens doing good deeds for their community, practicing good driving skills, or those appearing to be in need at this time of year. The police officers will be handing out gift cards as an acknowledgement of the act of kindness. It's also worth noting that a majority of these gift cards will be from local businesses in the community - helping out our local economy.
The main driving force behind the initiative is the annual contribution from Team Carr. Garret Carr lost his life in a hunting accident in 2012. Team Carr was formed afterwards to help support his children, hunter safety, and our local community.
