The more time to pick up books, the better. The Duluth Public Library is expanding their curbside pickup schedule.

The Duluth Public Library will now be open for curbside pickup on Saturdays! The new addition will begin this Saturday, January 30th, according to their Facebook page. Saturday curbside pickup will begin at 10 a.m. and will continue until about 4 in the afternoon.

Curbside pickup is a great option for getting books to read as the library remains closed due to COVID-19. The new option was first announced back in April of 2020, as the pandemic picked up steam.

In June, the Duluth Public Library took things one step further and announced curbside pickup without appointment. All you have to do is check out your books out online and wait for a notification from the library that your order is ready. From there, pull up into one of the library's designated curbside pickup parking spots and follow the simple directions on the signage in the area.

I use curbside pickup all the time and it really is so easy! Plus, you can always reach out to the library if you have any questions and / or you are looking for good reads.

Curbside pickup at the Duluth Public Library is open from 10 a.m. to 4 pm. Monday through Saturday. The only exception to these hours is Thursday, where curbside pickup begins at 1 p.m. and continues until about 7 p.m.

While the library remains closed until further notice, you can still use computers by appointment. Computers are available to you by one-hour blocks and you can use them to print, scan and make copies.
