Duluth's Red Herring Lounge will only be around for a little bit longer.

According to an article by the Duluth News Tribune, the music venue and lounge will close its doors for good on June 10th. This will mark five years to the day since the iconic venue opened.

The owner of the hot spot wrote about the closure on his Facebook page. In his post, he cites his "deficiencies as a bar owner" and financial distress as a few major factors that went into his decision.

He also mentioned that he will having a farewell party for the Red Herring Lounge with details to come.

For now, the website is still up and running with events planned through May. The property is up for sale now.
