Drivers in the downtown Duluth area can expect some delays and detours on Thursday, March 16 as crews with the Minnesota Department of Transportation work to clean plugged drains along I-35.  The work will affect the southbound I-35 ramp at 256B which diverts traffic to Lake Avenue and 5th Avenue West.

Crews will close off the ramp beginning at 9:00 AM.  Work is expected to be completed within the same day.

The project comes at the heels of the ramp being closed a few days ago due to flooding during an early thaw process.
