Douglas County Sheriff’s Office Treating Found Pickup Truck As A Stolen Vehicle Case

Here's an update on the 1978 Ford pickup truck that dredging crews discovered last week in the harbor.  Officials with the Douglas County Sheriff's Office are now treating the case as a stolen vehicle.  The truck was reported stolen to the Duluth Police Department on August 25, 1990 and has apparently been laying on the bottom of the harbor since that time.

The sheriff's office is turning the case over to the Duluth Police Department for more investigation.
