Dennis Green, Former Vikings Coach, Passes Away At The Age Of 67
ESPN is reporting that Dennis Green, who coached the Minnesota Vikings and Arizona Cardinals over 13 NFL seasons, died this morning at the age of 67. When he was coach of the Minnesota Vikings he made the playoffs ten times and got to the NFC championship and lost in the infamous missed kick gamble to Atlanta.
ESPN's Adam Schefter said Green died after a cardiac arrest.
Larry Fitzgerald Sr a sportswriter and the father of Cardinals player Larry Fitzgerald, he might have been the last friend to talk to him and according to ESPN told ESPN's Josina Anderson that he spoke with Green on Thursday."Denny was my guy," Fitzgerald said. "He gave me the opportunity to host and produce his radio show eight years ago."
