Culvert Project Closes Parts Of Lakewood Road

Living in the Northland you know the drill:  There are only so many weeks of nice weather so the summer season tends to be full of road construction projects!  Along those lines, a culvert project will close down a portion of Lakewood Road for the next few weeks,

Crews with the City of Duluth will be replacing the culvert on Lakewood Road near where it intersects with Highway 61.  They'll also be doing ditch work in the area.  The project started on May 22 and is anticipated to last about two weeks.

Detours will be posted - mainly using McDonnell Road.
