The City of Superior offers outstanding outdoor opportunities for residents - all year long.  All told, they maintain summer and winter trail systems, a variety of parks - including a dog park, and the municipal forest.

A few years back, the city installed canoe and kayak racks at three different locations:  at Barkers Island, the 21st Street Landing, and Woodstock Bay - the landing that exists at the end of 28th Street at the St. Louis River.  (The 28th Street location also offers an accessible kayak launch/deck)

Ahead of the summer season, the city is accepting applications for interested parties who want to rent rack space for the 2019 summer season.  That season will run May 1, 2019 through October 15, 2019.  Residents of the City of Superior can submit their applications right now (the application process started February 1) and non-residents can submit their applications starting April 1.

The fee is $100.00 for residents of the City of Superior and $200.00 for non-residents.

Click here for an online application form.  Payment for the space must be included when submitting the application.
