Michael Evans was only 23, and his son Elijah was only two months old.  Also, in the car at the time of the incident was Laura Ojanen, Mother of Elijah and partner to Michael.

There are fundraisers out there to help support the families involved, but I wanted to bring your attention to another one.  I was recently in the Choo Choo Bar & Grill, near where the crash happened.  Choo Choo owner, Kevin McCoy, and his staff decided to do a fundraiser of their own.

If you stop into the Choo Choo located at 5002 East 3rd Street in Superior, WI behind the bar you'll notice a jar.  It's for any amount you feel you're able to donate to Laura Ojanen as she goes through this incredibly difficult time.

Kevin will personally make sure every cent goes directly to Laura and there won't be any service, processing, or other fees some fundraising companies might charge before people can get the money they need.

Any amount will help, so even if you are driving by and don't have time for a drink or a bite to eat, swing in quick and toss in a few bucks to help Choo Choo help out Laura.
