Caribou Coffee To Sell Limited Edition ‘SKOL Vikings Blend’ Coffee

If you're a fan of coffee and the Minnesota Vikings, Caribou Coffee has just the thing for you. Starting Thursday (August 2), "SKOL Vikings Blend" will be offered at all Minnesota Caribou Coffee locations and at many Minnesota grocery stores.

According to the Minnesota Vikings, the limited edition blend will be offered in 10-ounce ground bags starting August 2, with a 10-count K-Cup option becoming available starting in September, just in time for cooler temperatures and regular season Vikings football. The coffee bags are Vikings purple with SKOL written in gold across the front in the famous Vikings font (see below).

The coffee itself is a medium roast, described by Caribou as "a combination of cinnamon, nutty and cherry notes, designed to fuel Vikings fans all season."

Caribou also announced via a joint press release with the Vikings that 10% of all proceeds from the Vikings Blend sold at Caribou locations will go to University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital. The Vikings also have a long-standing relationship with supporting this hospital, making it a great charity fit.
