It's always hard to place a pet. It's even harder to place a pet with special needs. Our pet of the week is just that. Dogs are used a lot of the time to be the eyes for people. Dashi is blind, so this dog needs to use it's owners eyes and needs a little extra care. He loves freely and is happy, and is just looking for a home.

Daryl at Animal Allies told me a little bit about Dashi. Here's what he had to say:

Dashi is a two year old American Staffordshire Terrier who came to Animal Allies as a transfer from another rescue. He is a sweet boy who loves to spend time with people. Dashi is a special dog, not only because of his snuggly personality, but because he is blind. He doesn't let that slow him down, he loves to play especially with toys that make noise. Dashi is looking for a home as the only pet. He will be neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated by the time of adoption. If you are interested in adoption, please visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road or give us a call at 218-722-5341 for more information!
