One of those bands that is easily-identified with the early 1970's is coming to Minnesota this fall.  Mystic Lake Casino in Prior Lake has announced that America will perform on Thursday, November 14 - with a show at 8:00 PM. Tickets go on sale Friday, June 28.

As a group, America dominated the pop charts when they first debuted in 1972.  Before the mid-70's, they scored six Top Ten's - with two of them: A Horse With No Name and Sister Golden Hair - going all the way to Number One on the Billboard pop singles chart.  They continued to chart hits as the rest of the decade went by, and scored two more Top Ten's in the early 1980's - with You Can Do Magic and The Border.

Originally a trio, today America consists of two original members: Dewey Bunnell and Gerry Beckley.

The show at Mystic Lake promises to be a good one.  Reviews of recent America shows show that the band is a tight as ever.

Tickets start at $39.00.  Click here for more information.
