Downtown drivers will want to know about a ramp closure that's scheduled to start on Monday, October 28.  Officials with the Minnesota Department of Transportation are alerting drivers that the 2nd Avenue West ramp off of Mesaba Avenue will be closed so that work crews can perform maintenance repairs on it.  The closure is expected to last one week, however there is a possibility of a two-week closure depending on how quickly the work can be completed.

Specific to the project, the MNDOT crews will be cleaning spray system pucks - which help to keep the ice off of 2nd Avenue.
