The 2019 edition has been completed and will be released and will include a party at Greysolon by Blackwoods in Duluth from 5 pm to 9 pm.

Hundreds of regional musicians share talents on the annual Christmas by the Lake CD for youth in the performing arts.

Throughout the Christmas season, the CD will be available at area Super One Foods customer service counters, Woodland Marketplace Foods, Lady Ocalats-Downtown Duluth, Korner Store in Duluth, Hermantown, and Superior, Goin' Postal, Big Daddy’s Burgers, Schmitt Music in the Miller Hill Mall, Benna Ford Roush in Superior, and Glensheen gift shop.

“Christmas by the Lake,” started 14 years ago when regional promoter and businessman Tracy Lundeen wanted to create a showcase of area talent doing holiday music and to donate the proceeds to charities. Over the years the project has benefitted the Boys and Girls Club, Northern Lights Foundation and is now the major fundraiser for the Lundeen family’s Bluebird Foundation. To date, the group has helped area youth with thousands of dollars in scholarship money.
