19th Annual Lions Club Apple Harvest Sale Raises Money For Local Programs

The Lions Club in the Northland has their hands on many programs in the local area and raise money to pay for these programs. They are most known for glasses and helping diabetes patients. The 19th Annual Duluth Lions Club Apple Harvest Sale is taking orders or you can show up and purchase freshly picked Bayfield Apples.

You can purchase some from any Lion's club member, like Tom at 218-728-4565 or Gail 218-348-6310, at DTCU Downtown at 11 west second street. Or you can show up when the apples are delivered at the First United Methodist Church (The Copper Top Church) on Tuesday, October 18th from 5 to 7pm or Wednesday, October 19th from noon to 7 pm.

Prices are:

$12 per peck-10 lbs

$45 per bushel-40 lbs

Remember all money goes back into our community!!

The Duluth Lions Club is also asking people to bring gently used coats, mittens, hats, and blankets to be donated to the Union Gospel Mission.
