Wendy’s Updates Logo To Match Restaurant Upgrades; Company Hopes To Ignite Long-Term Growth
No, the pigtails aren’t going anywhere. But the “Wendy’s experience” is about to change – company officials hope for the better.
March 2013 will see a new, updated logo for the company – the first since the chain opened in 1969. Gone will be the red block letters against a yellow background. In their place will be a font that’s more contemporary – with red lettering against a white background. The Wendy’s Girl image will also be updated – although it will look very similar to the current design.
The company also continues to revamp it’s menu and renovate the design elements of the interior of their restaurant locations.
Although Wendy’s stock is currently performing 20% off the mark, company officials are hopeful that the new branding and experience will work to their favor.
