It's obvious the Vikings need a shakeup in the coaching department, and I for one hope they can snag Parcells. I love this guy for a lot of reasons but mainly because he wins! It's been disputed by new accounts and by the team itself, but the New York Post reports that Payton and the Saints aren't the only ones trying to convince Parcells to return to the NFL.
The Minnesota Vikings are putting a "hard sell" on the 70-year-old, with team owner Zygi Wilf telling Parcells to "name his price" to coach the team and run the front office, according to The Post, which cites a person familiar with the situation.
