25 years ago, Van Halen dumped their long-time engineer Donn Landee, and brought in Andy Johns, who once engineered Led Zepplin, and then brought in Ted Templeman, who used to produce Van Halen when David Lee Roth was around. They created an album that was a departure from their sound and their subject matter. Sammy Hagar tells how the album got it's name.

It was the 3rd album for Van Halen, the 3rd number one in a row, and it was the hardest to make for the new supergroup often called Van Hagar. Sammy tells how he had family problems that took him away from the project and put him behind the 8 ball a lot. He also remembers how "Right Now" wrote itself while he had clarity on a beach.
