Just like they have in the past, the students at the University of Wisconsin-Superior are opening up their residence halls and inviting area children to come and trick-or-treat!

All are welcome on Friday, October 31 from 5 to 7 PM.

For the 20th year in a row students living in the Crownhart, Curran-McNeill-Ostrander, Ross and Hawkes residence halls along Catlin Avenue will decorate their hallways and be ready to hand out treats as children through sixth grade are guided through the buildings by a residence hall staff member.

The new Link at Hawkes Hall, 2231 Catlin Ave., will feature “child friendly” decorations to avoid scaring small children. Children visiting any of the residence halls must be accompanied by an adult.

Parents may park free in university lots near the residence halls.

Each year since 1994, students have invited children from the community to trick-or-treat in a safe environment within the residence halls at UW-Superior. The event is sponsored by the Residence Life Office and the Residence Hall Association. In honor of the 20th year of ResHalloween, new this year will be face painting for kids in all of the residence halls and games for children and residence alike at Ross and Hawkes halls.
