The Starbucks Metal Card Goes On Sale Today, Get Yours If You Can Afford It

I suppose if one can afford a $600 Tee, you could swing The Starbucks Metal Card. This is not your ordinary run of the mill card kids. This one is made of steel.  Each card is specially etched, and comes pre- loaded with $400. It costs $50 to make, which Starbucks says explains the $450 price tag.

Starbucks will make only 5,000 of them. But you can't buy them at any Starbucks store. You'll need to go "uptown" for this puppy  via the luxury goods website, Gilt.com. According to USA Today, the card comes with gold-level Starbucks card membership benefits, such as gifts and freebie refills on brewed coffee and tea.
