For the lifestyle I have, k-cups are a perfect fit. I often don't have time to sit around and wait for the coffee pot to take it's sweet time. When I run out, I shop locally, and more often than not, find my favorite. Sometimes, their sold out, in that case, I use Amazon. They always have what I like, at what used to be a very reasonable price. Not so anymore, and that's the problem.

I started noticing price increases about six months ago. The companies blamed poor coffee crops caused by the weather. The prices steadily increased, to almost double what prices were a year ago. Coffee companies are now warning more price increases are coming. This time they blame the civil unrest going on in different parts of the world.

While k-cups are a huge convenience, they are after all, a convenience. I can get along without a convenience, especially when I'm now forced to pay twice as much as I was a year ago. Instead of K-cups being a convenience, their now becoming a burden, and who needs that? Has anyone else noticed the price increases? If so, tell me about it in the comment section.
