Bristol Palin stopped by ‘The Tonight Show with Jay Leno’ Thursday night to promote her new memoir, ‘Not Afraid Of Life: My Journey So Far,’ published last month.
Of course Bristol’s famous mom, Sarah, came up during the interview, along with her possible presidential run, and Leno asked if there was any reason she shouldn’t run.
April 7, 2011 It's starting already isn't it. We'll soon be bombarded with news of this person and that person all running to be the one. I don't know much about Sarah Palin. In fact, I don't know much about any of the cadidates, except former Governor Pawlenty who has been on the air with me from time to time. It should be interesting.
In case you thought there was no way that America could possibly hate Sarah Palin any more than they already do, check out her new approval ratings from the NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll. Palin’s approval rating has dropped to 25%, which is tied with George W. Bush and one point behind Richard Nixon for the worst ever.
According to the poll, America’s dislike of Sarah Palin is bordering on historic. Within the 25% of Americans that approve of her only 9% strongly approve of her. This actually represents a drop 4 points from the last time this poll was taken in December. The number of Americans who strongly disapprove of her dropped from 16% to 12%, but this was offset by an increase of 7% in those who somewhat disapprove of her from 34% to 41%.
