The owner of two different restaurants in Duluth is offering free bagged lunch for kids starting tomorrow.

Valentini's Vicino Lago will be vacating their primary location on London Road in Duluth and relocating their popular restaurant to Hermantown.

Hand scooped ice cream, signature Philly style cheesesteak sandwiches, angus beef burgers and more are all coming soon to Hermantown!

Guy Fieri is bringing his restaurant chain Chicken Guy! to the third-level food court at the Mall Of America next year, with nearly two dozen sauces to choose from.

For some the thought of cooking another meal for family and friends may seem a little overwhelming, so here are some restaurants that are open Christmas Day.

If you and the family need a little time out of the house, here is a list of places for you to go on Christmas Eve. This is a list of restaurants suitable for all ages, but most places close very early so it is more of late lunch/early dinner.

As I was emceeing the Upper Lakes Food Show this week I met a vendor that was offering tasting samples of salad dressings and sauces.  I told him that I loved the kind of blue cheese dressing that you can usually only find at supper clubs.  That spurred a conversation about what a restaurant should have to be considered a supper club.

Just like a budding flower in Spring there are certain businesses that re-open after taking a winter hiatus and it gets Northlanders excited about the possibility of our seasons changing.  I was surprised to see one such business open on Grand Avenue in West Duluth already, Dairy Queen.  Woot Woot!  Here's my list of other businesses that I can't wait to open, can you add to it?

As I was on air warning people to remember to make their dinner reservations for Valentine's Day before the ultimate times were booked, I began thinking about the restaurants we use to have in the area that many couples use to get engaged at while celebrating Valentine's dinner.  If you remember these restaurants do you miss them as much as I do?

I was really bummed when I heard that Tycoon's Restaurant was closing.  I loved their Chicken Florentine and Hummus Platter.  I have lots of great memories at Tycoon's.  The history of this building is amazing, it's the old City Hall.  My daughter celebrated her 18th birthday in the Treasury Room upstairs and when I was coach of the Denfeld Cheerleaders we held our banquet in the Council Chambers.
