The Hermantown Hawks were honored Tuesday at the school. They are again bound for the state tournament and Tuesday the Hawks held a send–off for the 3rd seeded team. Travis Koepke leads the Hawks in scoring with 65 points.

The 2013 MSHSL Boys Hockey Tournament bracket was released today following the last section championships on Friday. Duluth East, Hermantown, and Duluth Marshall all won their respective sections to qualify and have been waiting for today's announcement to see who they play in the first round at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.

The Greyhounds of Duluth East are looking to earn their fifth straight appearance in the Class AA Boys State Hockey Tournament tonight in a matchup of the top seeds of Section 7AA.
