The Greyhounds of Duluth East are looking to earn their fifth straight appearance in the Class AA Boys State Hockey Tournament tonight in a matchup of the top seeds of Section 7AA. East (#1) and Grand Rapids (#2) hit the ice at Amsoil Arena tonight (Thursday) at 7:30 and WEBC 560 will be carrying the game on the air and streaming online at webc560.com.

East enters tonight's section championship riding a 15-game winning streak, including three consecutive shutout wins. The defending Section 7AA champion Greyhounds will take on a Grand Rapids team the Greyhounds beat 2-1 in a regular season match at the Heritage Sports Center on January 10.

The player to watch in tonight's game is Greyhounds senior Ryan Lundgren, who has 7 goals so far in two games of section playoff action, including 4 in the game against St. Michael-Albertville and 3 in the match against Cloquet-Esko-Carlton. The Hounds will also look to senior goaltender Dylan Parker for another good performance between the pipes. Parker has only allowed one goal in his last five games in net for East.

Tonight's game coverage will start at 7:15 from Amsoil Arena on the air at 560 AM and online at webc560.com with the puck drop at 7:30. Jon Garver and Matt Johnson will have play by play analysis and after the game, look for a game recap and photos from the match deciding the Section 7AA representative at the state tournament next week.
