Part of their Youth Allies Program. This April 4th through the 8th during spring break Animal Allies will offer Games Dogs and Cats Play, it's for kids ages 8-12.
Her breed sounds like you need to drink with your pinky up, a Staffordshire Terrier. Daryl talked to me on the phone about what this weeks pet of the week is really like. She is bubbly and just looking for a home and someone to love her.
Daryl called me on the cell today, and forgot I was heading out early on vacation, but it's important to me to get a home for these pets. He said let's get philosophical with Socrates, a handsome orange male tabby looking to become your resident scholar. Made me laugh, ok let's do it Daryl.
This Saturday Feb 20th at American Legion West Duluth Post 71, will be staging a rock concert featuring the Wildwood Band. The cost is $10 and will proceed Animal Allies.
Daryl and I talked this morning, and he reminded me to thank everyone because these animals are finding homes. We have a new one this morning with a sad story. They lost their owner and Animal Allies is helping to find a new home.
Daryl from Animal Allies could not call in today, so I had him email me our latest Pet Of The Week. Jenga, which is an interesting name, but definitely a cute dog. Let's keep our perfect record of finding homes for these adorable companions going.
Daryl called in late today but wanted to talk pets and a fundraiser happening this Friday. This weeks pet is Air Bud, and would be a great dog for someone wanting to be more active or is already really active and wants a buddy, an Air Bud.
Daryl said we are still perfect for getting our pets adopted, so let's continue our good luck. This week we have a dog named Jack. He is a great dog, but Daryl says he would do better in a home that isn't populated with children. There wouldn't be a danger factor but has proved he is better with people who don't have kids. Maybe a senior.
Daryl from Animal Allies called to talk about a cat named Oliver Buttons. I love the name alone. Sounds like that movie with Brad Pitt, Benjamin Buttons. This cat is just looking for a home and someone to love on.
This morning we talked to Daryl from Animal Allies and we talked about Trixie. It worked, Trixie found a home, but later in the day Daryl told me about Kona. Cute older dog, he needs a home.
Daryl and I talked about the cold weather coming our way and it's a great time for getting a pet for Seniors. It's someone for them to care for and it's a companion, there are many health benefits to having a pet including: lowering the risk of heart disease, lowering blood pressure, and reducing stress.
Animal Allies prides themselves on making animals ready to take home. One other thing I would like to compliment them on, is learning the potential pet's personality and making it easy to get to know that pet. Here is another example.
