If murdering the English language was a misdemeanor, I’d be on death row, so what am I doing posting on proper pronunciation of words? Well, I ran across this article and found it entertaining but true. I thought it might come in handy sometime.
1. Kibosh ==Ky-bosh-Emphasis on the Ky.
2. Celtic==Keltic
3. Comptroller==Controller-the P is silent
4. Cache==Cash
5. Chicanery==The CH is pronounced sh as in Chicago
6. Affluent==Emphasis on the AFF
7. Boatswain==Bo-sun
