Dear “Rum Diary”: Tonight I sang with Keith Richards!
That’s what Johnny Depp might scribble into his bedside journal after jamming out with the Rolling Stones legend at “The Rum Diary” after-party in Manhattan that raged into the wee hours yesterday morning.
The Maritime Hotel mini-gig happened when the “Pirates of the Caribbean” father and son came down from a VIP area and joined Depp’s JD Band onstage, causing the camera-phone-snapping crowd to rush forward to Keef and Johnny, both behind guitars, belting out the old blues standard, “Key to the Highway.”
