The month of October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month  - a way to make everyone more aware of this tragic crime that unfortunately occurs in every community in the world.  A variety or organizations and businesses in Superior are banding together to make a difference.

  • On October 2, Mayor Bruce Hagen will kick off the month with a proclamation in the Courthouse Atrium at 11AM.
  • On October 9, 10, and 11 the East End Super One will host the annual CASDA Fall Donation Drive from 1 - 6 PM on each of the days.
  • Two Superior businesses will give you the chance to make a difference on October 15.  Red Mug and Wednesday Bakery will have purple treats for sale.
  • Finally, on October 24 - residents of Superior are encouraged to leave a porch light on to show support for victims and survivors of domestic abuse.
