Wisconsin, usually a high powered offensive machine, came to the Amzoil Arena and was stopped like a brick wall by Kayla Black. A freshman goaltender for UMD, she blanked them each night with back to back shutouts.

According to umdbulldogs.com Kim Martin did it in 2006, but not in the same series. Kayla Black now ranks fifth in the nation with a saves percentage of .941, second with two shutouts and sixth with a goals against average of 1.52. She faced 31 shots and turned all of them back and was the difference in the game.

Next on the list is Mankato State, will there be a letdown, I doubt it. Just check out her numbers and watch her play.
