Northlander's know that the growing season here is short.  Smart gardeners maximize every resource to make sure that their fall harvest is a bountiful one!  A special event put on by the St. Louis County Extension office is one of those educational opportunities that you won't want to miss.

Billed as a Spring Gardening Extravaganza, the event happens Saturday, April 16 at the Hermantown High School.  From 9:00 AM to 1:15 PM, you'll have the chance to learn skills and techniques that you can bring to your garden spot this summer.

On tap are featured demonstrations, activities - even fun stuff for the kids.

Cost for the event is $30 - which includes a program, resource book, and refreshments.  Pre-registration is strongly encouraged.  Call 218-733-2870.
