A partnership between a local school club and some of the principal individuals at the Haunted Ship is creating a special event that's coming up Saturday, October 27. The Hermantown High-Middle School Civility Club presents the Haunted Trail on the trail that's located behind the Hermantown High School - running from 6:00 to 8:00 PM for kids, and 8:00 to 11:30 PM for adults.

The event came to be when the club heard that the Haunted Ship was not going to happen this year due to the Irvin's move and slip work.  The group contacted Alex Dunning the director of the Haunted Ship to see if he would be interested in partnering with them to develop a haunted attraction at the Hermantown school.  Dunning agreed, and brought along Dave Stafsholt the ships acting coordinator for the project as well.  Many of "the usuals" - actors, make up artists, and support staff from the Haunted Ship - are taking part as well.

If you're going to the event, enter the trail through the entrance in the student parking lot.  Cost is $6.00 per person; bring a canned food item and your price is only $5.00.  There will be concessions available.  Get more details on their Facebook page.
