Duluth Public Library Closing For A Day

Those of you who consider yourselves bookworms, here's some news for you. Released from the Duluth Public Library. The Duluth Public Library's main library building at 520 W. Superior St. will be closed Monday, September 10, beginning at 1:30 pm.

Minnesota Power will be working in the area and power to the library will be shut off. The library expects to re-open at 5 that afternoon, barring unforeseen circumstances, and will remain open until 8 pm. Mt. Royal and West Duluth branch libraries will remain open during the afternoon but some services may be limited.

In addition to the closing of the main library building, some online services will be unavailable during the power outage. The library's web catalog, personal account information, downloadable books, inter library loan system and telephone system will be unavailable.
